His unique journey as the pastor of Heavenly Way Baptist Church and the founder of the Power Forward Youth Leadership Mentoring Program in 2009 speaks volumes about his commitment to youth empowerment. For over a decade, Kevin has poured his heart into this program, creating a safe haven for boys to explore new opportunities and experiences that will pave the way to their bright futures. His 26 years of marriage to Ty Williams, along with their five children—and now the responsibility of their sixteen-year-old niece—highlight his strong family values and understanding of the support young people need to flourish.
Kevin's passion for mentoring is contagious. He invites every young boy to pay attention to his message, emphasizing that they possess untapped potential waiting to be unleashed. With Kevin as their guide, they will discover what it means to be a positive role model, embrace challenges, and become leaders in their own right. He believes that every young person deserves a chance to rise and shine, and it starts with believing in themselves and the guidance they receive from mentors like him.
